Paul Biya is the President of Cameroon and has held his position for a strong 35 years. President Biya took office on the 6th November 1982, taking the position when he was 51 years of age. Biya holds the titles of being the second ever President of Cameroon whilst also holding the title as the longest serving President.
His family consists of his wife Chantal Pulchérie BIYA and his three children, Frank BIYA (the oldest), Paul BIYA Junior and Anastasie Brenda BIYA EYENGA.
Biya has come under serious criticism about his ability to make good decision as President as it was found out that when he was 16, he was involved in a case which saw him rape a girl. At 16, his father wanted him to go into higher positions in the church, but this unfortunate rape resulted in his banishment from the Catholic church. Paul Biya is now on his way to enter his 7th term as the President of Cameroon.
